Attach-A-Deck is a tested method for attaching
the deck ledger to the house band joist (rim joist) directly. Attach-A-Deck
is self sealing so flashing is not required. The result is an air
gap between the house and deck ledger to providing for: (1) ventilation
around the deck., (2) expansion of synthetic decking materials,
and (3) a non intrusive method for the deck builder to attach-a-deck
without violating the outer system of the home by removal of siding. |
